Humanities Cover Supervisor Wanted!

Smile Education is currently working with a thriving secondary school located in the WN4 area. The school is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to support their Humanities department. You’ll be delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring smooth classroom management in the absence of teaching staff.
 
📍 Location: WN4
💰 Competitive daily rate: £120–£150
🎓 Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
 
Cover Supervisor – Who we’re looking for:
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an educational setting
• Subject knowledge in Humanities (History, Geography, RS, English Literature) 
• Ability to manage a classroom and follow lesson plans effectively
• Confident communicator with a calm and professional manner
• 2 education-based references
• A full enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
 
Role Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons to classes across KS3 & KS4
• Maintain a calm, productive classroom environment
• Monitor student behaviour and ensure school policies are followed
• Support learners in understanding and completing lesson objectives
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
