Job Description:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality learning activities across the curriculum, including covering classes during teacher absence
  • Support pupils with differentiated learning, including those with SEND and EAL
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan, prepare, and assess learning activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independenceconfidence, and engagement
  • Provide targeted interventions in literacynumeracy, and social-emotional development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activitiesschool events, and pastoral support

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold HLTA status or be working towards it, with relevant experience in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a proactive and reflective practitioner with strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive educationsafeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
  • Be confident in delivering lessons and supporting pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Be enthusiastic about team collaborationprofessional growth, and child-centred learning
