An ‘Good’ Secondary School in the Gateshead area is seeking a History Teacher who can confidently deliver A-Level to undertake an initial temporary cover which is due to start the week after the Summer Break. The successful candidate will hold QTS in the UK and must be able to deliver History at A-Level as well as GCSE.

The school prides itself on its belief that all pupils should pass through their doors and develop into confident and compassionate leaders. It strives to achieve this by providing a nurturing environment where all pupils are provided with the same educational opportunities to ensure they are each able to make a genuine difference in the world outside the school.

Criteria:

  • Must hold QTS in the UK
  • Must be able to confidently deliver A-Level History
  • Must possess a DBS on the Update service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
  • Must be able to show a track record of improving pupil attainment
