Smile Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons in EYFS in the mornigns and Year 6 in the afternoons in a long-term role which will be ongoing. This is a great opportunity for experienced HLTAs with a passion for Early Years or for a recently qualified ECT looking to build relationships with a brilliant local school before moving to their first teaching role.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons to a Nursery & Year 6 class, covering planned teacher absences.
- Work closely with the teaching staff to support learning and classroom management.
- Assist with intervention groups, ensuring pupils receive tailored support.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Full-time position with a September start.
About You:- Hold HLTA qualification or QTS (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience delivering lessons to EYFS or KS2 children.
- Confident in leading a classroom independently.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
