Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent)
Salary: £110-£140 per day (depending on experience)

Academics are delighted to be supporting a friendly, well-resourced primary school in Wandsworth who are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about raising attainment and making a meaningful impact on pupils' academic progress.

As the school's HLTA, you will play an important part in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading small group interventions to strengthen understanding and build confidence

• Delivering targeted Maths and English support sessions

• Working collaboratively with teachers to help plan, prepare, and deliver effective learning support

• Supporting assessment activities and contributing to the tracking of pupil progress

The school is looking for an HLTA who:

• Has strong experience working within a primary school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant

• Is confident leading academic interventions, particularly in Maths and English

• Is proactive, organised, and able to work independently as well as within a team

• Holds HLTA status or brings equivalent relevant experience
