Job Position: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Rate: £105 - £140 per day

Location: Wigan

Contract: Full time, Temporary, Flexible positions available

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school in the Wigan area who are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant who has immediate availability, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position in September. As a HLTA, you will be required to provide student support on a 1:1 basis, as well as covering pre-planned classes and supporting the Class Teacher with lesson preparation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• HLTA status / Meet the HLTA standards.
• Child Workforce DBS on the update service (Or willingness to obtain one).
• Be enthusiastic and have a hands on approach to helping pupils achieve their goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant as well as higher level tasks such as PPA Cover, Small group tuition and 1:1 support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
