Higher Level Teaching Assistant
The Head Teacher of a primary school in Lytham is keen to secure a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide general classroom support in Year 2 and PPA cover across various classes within school. The school are looking for a practitioner who is an excellent team player, but who can also confidently make use of their own initiative when making decisions. The role is to begin from September 2022.
The Head Teacher is well respected by staff, children and parents and holds an excellent reputation within the local area. The successful applicant will be provided with a full induction and introduced to all staff members. There is an open door policy and the Senior Leadership Team are always open to new ideas to develop best practice across the school. The Head Teacher is therefore keen to secure a practitioner who will contribute towards this and be committed to upholding the whole school ethos.
This opportunity would be ideal for a newly qualified Teacher looking to gain confidence and develop further in their teaching practice. The successful applicant must have experience of leading whole classes and be able to manage behaviour effectively.
Accepted qualifications: Level 4 education-based qualification or above; QTS; HLTA Status

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
