You’ll be a strong match if you:

• ✔️ Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• ✔️ Possess a degree in Mathematics or significant subject expertise
• ✔️ Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience highly desirable

• ✔️ Are ready to hit the ground running and support consistent routines and high expectations across the department

In this Head of Maths role, you will:

• Lead and develop the Mathematics department with clarity and vision
• Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven improvement
• Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and shared practice
• Drive high expectations, consistent routines, and strong behaviour for learning
• Contribute to whole‑school improvement priorities
• Ensure all students experience engaging, challenging Maths learning
