Duties
- Develop and implement an innovative geography curriculum that meets educational standards and engages students.
- Lead and mentor a team of geography teachers, providing support and guidance to enhance their teaching practices.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve academic performance in geography.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate geographical concepts across the curriculum.
- Organise field trips, workshops, and guest lectures to enrich the learning experience for students.
- Stay updated on current geographical issues and advancements in teaching methodologies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for geography.
Skills- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing educational teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex geographical concepts.
