What is the Future Teacher Programme?
The Future Teachers Programme is designed to help address the teacher shortages across England & Wales by attracting bright graduates who are considering a career in teaching but wish to gain practical experience before enrolling in initial teacher training (ITT).
Schools taking part in the programme; have the opportunity to enrol graduates onto their own ITT programme or help signpost them to a partner ITT provision. In doing so, they can secure a highly motivated graduate who will become a future member of the teaching team.
