Teaching Personnel are currently working with our partner schools to build a pool of graduates across Andover to provide support to these schools prior to training to teach.
The Schools in the local area are currently looking to receive paid support from graduates in the local area in northern Hampshire and surrounding areas who are interested in training to teach in the future. This excellent opportunity allows you to build the experience necessary to build a working knowledge of the role of a teacher whilst earning between £65 and £90 and building a portfolio of work to show when you apply for your initial teacher training programme.
We will look to pair ambitious graduates with schools in their local area in order to train and mentor them into a successful future teacher prior to undertaking the teacher training to become a qualified teacher in the future, with this school you have been paired with.
As part of this role you will be instrumental to ensuring that small groups of pupils and individuals catch up with their predicted grades and make up any short comings which may have arisen due to COVID19 and the lockdown. This will involve working closely with these students who may not have accessed education since the school closures to quickly regain their engagement and vastly improve their outcomes from school!
We have helped graduates across Hampshire to build the skills and knowledge required to go on to train to teach in years gone past, the majority of these have gone on to successfully teach in schools where they built this foundation knowledge!
The work is paid weekly dependant on previous experience as well as the role undertaken ranging from £65 to £90 per day dependant on the position you take up. This is a position which can be undertaken on a full or part time basis.
If you are a graduate and you are interested in training to teach in the future this is a brilliant way to build your experience and to network within schools talking to the current trainee teachers to get an accurate depiction of teaching prior to starting your journey in September 2020!
