How It Works

Phase 1: Paid Cover Supervisor Role

September 2026 - August 2027

Start earning immediately while developing your teaching skills in a real classroom environment.

What's Included:

• £22,000 - £27,000 annual salary
• Hands-on classroom experience with student supervision
• Structured training sessions (lesson planning, behaviour management, assessment, safeguarding)
• Personal mentor providing regular feedback and guidance
• Shadow experienced teachers and observe best practice

Phase 2: Formal Teacher Training

September 2027 - July 2028

Transition to full teacher training while maintaining salary support.

What You'll Achieve:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by July 2028

Do You Qualify?

Academic Requirements for Teacher Training:

• Undergraduate degree (UK or equivalent qualification)
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• GCSE Science (Grade C/4 or above) - Primary teachers only
