Your Role as a Trainee Teacher

From your first day, you will be an active member of the school community. Responsibilities will increase gradually and may include:

  • Supporting pupils in lessons and small group settings
  • Co-planning and delivering engaging lessons alongside experienced teachers
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment

Training, Support & Development

  • Structured Training Pathway: Covering lesson planning, behaviour management, assessment, and inclusive practice
