Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Manchester
One of Teaching Personnel’s partner secondary schools situated in Manchester is looking to recruit a passionate graduate to fulfil their Learning Support Assistant position. This is a full time Learning Support role for a confident and motivated graduate who is keen to work within a secondary school environment.
This full-time position is for an immediate start and is initially a one year fixed term position.
Learning Support Assistant role:
This role will involve supporting students at both KS3 and KS4 aged 11 – 16 in the main, assisting the class teacher in ensuring they have access to the subjects being studied. There will be opportunities to support students who are excelling in their studies as well as opportunity to support students who have been identified as falling behind their peers. Any experience of working in this way with young people will be beneficial. If you have been a mentor previously or have tutored students in any environment, then apply now for immediate consideration.
The school are keen to organise meetings with candidates who have any experience as a youth worker, mentor, tutor or previously as a learning support assistant.
