Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Wing, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Full-time – Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (MPS/UPS)

- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Inspire students through the teaching of both physical and human Geography, encouraging curiosity about the wider world.
- Plan and develop stimulating schemes of work that promote enquiry, analytical thinking, and geographical investigation skills.
- Support students in understanding environmental, social, and global issues through relevant and engaging learning experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including field trips, enrichment activities, and extracurricular opportunities.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge across physical and human Geography.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
