Large secondary school in Bury are seeking to appoint a team of flexible GCSE tutors to support the 'catch up' scheme for KS4 students from September 2020.

If you are an English, Science or Maths specialist seeking flexible tutoring work on a part time or full time basis, this role may be ideal for you.

-          GCSE Tutor - flexible hours!

-          Opportunity to work within a vibrant secondary school in Bury.

-          Supporting with planning, preparing and delivering targeted sessions for KS3/KS4.

-          Close to public transport links and the M66 motorway.

-          Earn up to £15 - £30 per hour.

Due to the catch up initiative, the benefit of a dynamic GCSE Tutor would help support in raising attainment and providing a more personal experience for pupils. Pupils across English, Science and Maths have a spectrum of learning needs and can be extremely disengaged with education, and are working at much lower levels of learning in terms of national averages. The role will require patient, resilient and skilled tutors, with previous experience working with hard to reach young people within a similar setting. You must also be able to build a rapport easily and be able to correspond with what motivates them, as well as having the subject knowledge.
