TP-Tutors is seeking experienced Functional Skills Tutors to support learners in Reading. If you have a passion for helping students with additional needs and a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:
You will assess, plan, and deliver personalised Functional Skills tuition in Maths and/or English. Our students include those with SEN and SEMH needs such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Anxiety

  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

Sessions can be delivered in school, at home, at a local venue, or online—whatever suits the student best.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years’ experience tutoring Functional Skills
  • Experience working with SEN or SEMH students
  • Ability to tailor sessions to individual learning levels and exam requirements
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
