Location: NG9, Nottingham
Hours: Part-time | Monday to Friday | School Hours

Are you an experienced Functional Skills Tutor with a passion for helping learners achieve their potential?

We are recruiting a dedicated tutor to deliver engaging and personalised Functional Skills sessions to students in the NG9 area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting learners to develop essential English and Maths skills in a supportive environment.

  • Deliver high-quality Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths.

  • Plan lessons tailored to individual learning needs and abilities.

  • Build learners' confidence and encourage independent learning.

  • Track progress and provide regular feedback.

  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills.

  • Strong knowledge of English and/or Maths.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • The right to work in the UK.

  • Competitive hourly rate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
