An Ofsted rated “outstanding” school in the BB7 area of Clitheroe, Lancashire are looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of French. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow, inspire and develop, this may be the role for you.

This vacancy is to begin on the 17th of April 2023 to cover maternity, with the potential to extend.

The purpose of your role will be:     

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.     
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor     
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential     
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment     
  • To share and support the academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent)
  • Have successful teaching experience across KS3/4
  • Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning
  • Have good written and spoken communication skills
  • Be able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
