Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Food Technology that meet the national curriculum standards.
• Inspire students to explore food science, cooking techniques, nutrition, and sustainability.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in practical lessons.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is desired but not essential.
• Experience teaching Food Technology or a related subject at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities.
• Knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum developments in Food Technology.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
