Salary: Main/Upper Pay Range (West Midlands); full-time equivalent £30,000–£46,525
(Actual salary pro-rated to 3 days per week)

Role Overview We are seeking an engaging, motivated PE teacher to join the team for 3 days per week. The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering PE lessons across Years 1 to 6
  • Teaching a full range of PE disciplines, including dance, games, athletics, gymnastics, and fitness
  • Promoting teamwork, resilience, and confidence through physical activity
  • Supporting inclusive practice by adapting activities for pupils with SEND or additional needs
  • Organising school sports events, inter-school competitions, and after-school sports clubs
  • Collaborating with teachers to enhance cross-curricular opportunities for active learning
  • Tracking pupil engagement and progression across key skills and physical development
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching PE in a primary setting
  • Be confident in delivering varied, high-quality PE lessons to pupils of all abilities
  • Be passionate about health, movement, and inclusive sport
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and rapport-building with pupils
  • Be proactive, collaborative, and committed to the wider life of the school
  • Ideally have experience running clubs or leading extracurricular sports activities
