EYFS Teacher 

Do you enjoy working with children and want a rewarding career, by shaping the young minds of the future?

We are currently seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to work in the Burnley area.

Location: Rochdale

Pay: £120 - £140 per day.

Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with children to ensure they engage with the curriculum and their learning.
  • Have a calm and nurturing approach to ensure children are happy and positive.
  • Support children and families during their transition to Primary School.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and continuous provision, so that children can achieve their full potential.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners and those with additional needs.
  • Work with Teaching Assistants, parents and other professionals e.g. SENCO, educational psychologists to support pupil development.
  • Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of all pupils, ensuring you adopt school’s policies and participate in regular safeguarding training.
  • Ensure children are assessed and progress is recorded so that feedback can be provided to children, parents and SLT.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Understand child development.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
