A school in South Manchester that recruits through Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a number of exam invigilators to help out during the schools’ mock exams in January. The school is based in South Manchester and can be reached via public transport on both bus and tram (5-minute walk from nearest tram stop). They have a very strong SLT department and are incredibly organized with the support they provide all members of staff.

The school need invigilators over the course of a 2-week period to help out with a number of exams. Each day entails a morning exam with some days also involving an afternoon exam in addition to the morning exam. Experience of either working as an invigilator or as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting is desirable for this role. The exams will be under strict conditions and the candidate needs to be able to successfully enforce the rules to a tee in order to assure complete fairness for all students taking the exam. The role is part-time temporary in January, however signing up with Teaching Personnel will allow you to become eligible for future invigilation roles and any teaching assistant posts should you desire.

This role would be ideal for anybody looking to either gain further experience within a school before going on to potentially do a PGCE or for anybody who is retired from teaching and looking for education-based work with less hours involved. The school are looking to recruit candidates before Christmas, and anybody taken on will most likely be needed for exam invigilation during the end of year exams as well.
