Do you have a passion for English and supporting young learners? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils across the NG18 Nottingham area.
This role is perfect for tutors who enjoy helping students build confidence, improve literacy skills, and overcome barriers to learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
• Deliver engaging 1:1 English tuition sessions
• Support pupils with reading, writing, comprehension, and literacy skills
• Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and abilities
• Encourage pupil confidence, motivation, and independence
• Work closely with families and schools where required
• Maintain progress records and session feedback
• Minimum 1 year UK teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
• Experience working with children or young people
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable approach
• SEN/SEND experience
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or anxiety
• QTS or tutoring background
• GCSE English intervention experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
