English Tutor – Secondary School – Brighton
Are you enthusiastic about English language and literature? Do you want to support students in achieving their academic potential?
Teaching Personnel is looking for a motivated and engaging English Tutor to provide targeted support within a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brighton. The school is known for its strong pastoral care, creative curriculum, and commitment to helping every student succeed.
Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition sessions to KS3 and KS4 students in English Language and Literature
Help raise attainment and improve student confidence ahead of key assessments and GCSE exams
Work collaboratively with school staff to tailor learning plans and monitor progress
Sessions may take place during the school day or after school, depending on your availability
Have a strong background in English or a related subject
Possess prior experience in tutoring or classroom support (QTS desirable but not essential)
Be confident in engaging students of varying ability levels
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Be passionate about education and making a positive impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
