What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching inspiring English lessons that will spark a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in students aged 11-16.
- Guiding students through classics, modern literature, and a variety of writing styles, from poetry to prose and everything in between.
- Encouraging students to develop their own voices, improve their analytical skills, and prepare them for exams and future success.
- Bringing creativity into the classroom with innovative teaching techniques, making Shakespeare, Dickens, and contemporary authors come to life!
- Fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.
What We’re Looking For:We want an English Teacher who is as passionate about language and literature as they are about
nurturing young minds. You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- A passion for education, with a focus on student development and progress.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Enthusiasm for literature, writing, and discussion—you’ll need to spark the same excitement in your students!
