Engineering Teacher – Motor Vehicle Specialist

We are currently working alongside a local Boston Secondary School who are currently looking to recruit within their Motor vehicle department for a September start date. The role will be a full time role and is suitable to unqualified teachers or fully qualified teachers as the opportunity to gain the qualifications to become a further education trained teacher can be obtained alongside the role.

The role will involve delivering a structured curriculum to students to enable them to further their education and explore a career in the motor vehicle industry, the role will be perfect for an individual who has industry experience and is now looking for a role which will enable them to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of the ever growing industry.

It was be desirable for the college if the applicant has experience within hybrid vehicles or are willing to gain suitable qualifications within hybrid vehicles, you would have to have previous experience working with cars and have excellent subject knowledge.

The applicant would ideally have the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Motor vehicle qualification.
  • Level 2 Award in MOT testing.
  • Hybrid vehicles qualification or the commitment to gain one.
  • Teaching qualification or the commitment to gain one.
  • Assessors and IQA award or the commitment to gain one.
