Educational Healthcare Assistants
The Role:
Working as a member of support staff in a specialist provision requires you to be adaptable, reliable, resilient and have knowledge and understanding of how to provide high quality care following care plans. This school support pupils aged 2-19 years with a wide range of SEN needs including complex medical needs, physical disabilities, profound and multiple learning difficulties including speech, language, and communication needs. Some of the schools we recruit for, have children that may show signs of challenging behaviour due to their Social, Emotional and mental health needs. Due to this, you must be confident in de-escelating challening behaviour.
Key Information:
- School based support role in Blackpool, FY3.
- Care / support / health care background experience.
- No specific qualifications required.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Be able to commute to and from Darwen daily.
- Part-time and full-time roles available.
- Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm.
- Options for temp to perm available.
- PAYE Contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
