We are seeking an ambitious and inspiring Economics Teacher to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach motivated students across Key Stages 4 and 5 and contribute to a thriving Humanities or Business faculty.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Teach Economics at GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent).
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
  • Participate fully in the wider life of the school community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has a degree in Economics or a related subject.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
  • Is passionate about raising student attainment and aspiration.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
