A welcoming and supportive primary setting in Chatham is seeking a committed Early Years Teacher to join their team on a fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role

  • Support high-quality provision within Nursery or Reception, helping to create a stimulating, safe and inclusive setting where children can thrive.
  • Supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assisting with observations and monitoring pupil progress
  • Promoting children's social, emotional and communication development
  • Helping to maintain a positive and well-organised learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent
  • Has experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Holds GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or recognised equivalents
  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Is patient, proactive and committed to supporting young learners

A genuine enthusiasm for Early Years education and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
