Early Career Teacher – Reception Class

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the NP7 area who are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your teaching career in a supportive and collaborative school environment.


About the Role

• Full-time Reception Class Teacher position starting in September
• Teach within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Responsibility for a class of pupils within a 2-form entry structure
• Work alongside a parallel class teacher to support shared planning and delivery
• Deliver engaging, creative, and play-based learning experiences
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Holds QTS or is due to qualify
• Strong understanding or interest in Early Years education
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
