DT Teacher responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across DT with a focus on Food and Construction
• Teach across KS3 and KS4, ensuring progress for all ability levels
• Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking and assessment
• Support the development of independent learning and practical skill-building
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in enrichment activities

DT Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification recognised in the UK
• Experience delivering DT, ideally with Food and/or Construction specialism
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
