Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a full-time role, starting in September 2025, perfect for a teacher who is passionate about performance, storytelling, and inspiring young minds through the dramatic arts.

We are looking for a qualified and engaging Secondary Drama Teacher with QTS (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will bring energy, innovation, and a commitment to fostering creativity in students across Key Stages 3 to 5.

  • Deliver imaginative and dynamic drama lessons to secondary students

  • Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages self-expression and confidence

  • Plan, direct and support school productions, workshops, and performances

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles

  • Work closely with other departments on cross-curricular projects

  • Track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Engage with students, staff, and families to support the wider school community

  • Stay current with developments in drama education and actively engage in CPD

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, creativity, and professionalism in line with school values

  • Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts or a related field

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred)

  • Experience teaching drama in a secondary school setting

  • A passion for drama and a commitment to inclusive arts education

  • Willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school
