Job Title: Design Technology Teacher

Location: Durham area 

Start date: May 2026

Salary: £175-£251 a day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate Design Technology teacher looking for work in May 2026? Teaching Personnel is looking for a Design Technology teacher to work in a Durham secondary school on a full-time basis from Mid May to the end of the academic year. You will be teaching across KS3/KS4, delivering high-quality lessons to secondary students.

The Role:

• Able to plan and deliver Design Technology lessons that fit within the school’s curriculum
• Manage an engaging classroom environment and suitable behaviours
• Work closely with students and fellow teachers to support students’ academic progress

Requirements of the Role:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum and experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary school setting
