A secondary school in Bury invites applications for the position of Computer Science Teacher to join its teaching staff on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This appointment represents an opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking department committed to delivering a high standard of education and fostering student achievement. All candidates will be paid the their scale - MPS/UPS. 

  • Deliver Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Prepare and implement structured and effective lesson plans
  • Assess student performance and support ongoing progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Engage fully in the wider responsibilities of school life

Applications will be considered from candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
  • Possess a relevant academic qualification in Computer Science or a related field
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
  • Show commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Exhibit a professional and collaborative approach
