Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive computer science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality computer science lessons.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in computer science education and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.






Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching computer science at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and software development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
