Class Teacher required for a thriving and highly respected special school in Sturminster Newton, Dorset. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of complex learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

They are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their experienced and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Support students’ personal, social, and academic development in a nurturing and structured environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support for each child.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere where every pupil can thrive.

• A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in SEND or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• A patient, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• A strong commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
