A secondary school in the Trafford area is looking to recruit a Business Studies teacher to join them in September 2020 at the start of the new academic year. The successful Business Studies teacher should be experienced teaching KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level which can be from your placements or from a previous teaching position. Applications are therefore encouraged from teachers of all experience including NQTs or more experienced classroom practitioners.
The school itself is a small to medium sized mixed comprehensive secondary school and has this Business Studies requirement as a result of a member of teaching staff due to leave. The teacher in question has given the school prior notice of their pending departure as they are reluctantly having to relocate due to personal circumstances. This open vacancy will be for the remainder of the school year with a real opportunity to secure a school based contract and become a permanent member of staff within the Humanities faculty teaching Business Studies.

The successful Business Studies teacher will be involved with all aspects of the Edexcel curriculum but it is not essential that they have experience of this syllabus.
The school is located in the heart of Trafford, making it very easy to access via public transport or those Business Studies teacher travelling by car. The school has a well sized on site car park aswell as boasting fantastic facilities. The local train station is within walking distance as well as buses travelling right outside the school and the local metrolink also travelling near to the school.
Any applicable Business Studies teachers who are due to be available for work in September and are looking for a long term career role, should apply as soon as possible to run through the registration process with Teaching Personnel. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
