We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our vibrant, inclusive secondary school community in Manchester.
This is more than a pastoral support role—it’s about building trust, guiding behaviour, and making a real difference in the lives of students who need it most.
🔑 What you’ll do:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students needing behaviour or emotional support
- Support academic engagement through structured tutoring and mentoring
- Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, boundaries, and resilience
- De-escalate conflict and help students re-engage with learning
- Liaise with teaching staff and external agencies to ensure joined-up support
✅ Ideal candidate:- Ex-police officer, military personnel, youth worker, or similar with transferable skills
- Strong presence and ability to build positive relationships with young people
- Confident supporting learning and managing behaviour in a school environment
- Calm, consistent, and solution-focused
