A secondary school in the LA1 area are keen to secure a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant to join their hardworking team to work across KS3/4.

This is a full-time position, and you will be able to deliver 1:1 and small group intervention support to assist in filling gaps in learning due to recent breaks in education.

Pupils from various backgrounds attend this secondary school, and the school take pride in tailoring lessons and activities to pupils’ individual requirements and needs. The SENCO has commented that they want to employ a candidate with a proven track record of improving engagement with lessons and activities. You must be able to create a positive and purposeful learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff.

Requirements for role 

• Recent Experience working with children in a KS3/4 environment 
• Committed attitude to raising standards both educationally and behaviourally
• Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
