Art Teacher – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (DOE, pro-rata for part-time)

A creative, forward-thinking school in Aylesbury is searching for an inspirational Art Teacher who can spark imagination, nurture self-expression, and bring the art curriculum to life. The role includes supporting learners with Special Educational Needs, ensuring every young artist has the chance to shine.

About the Role
Deliver dynamic, engaging Art lessons across KS3–KS5, bringing passion and originality into every session
Create a welcoming, inclusive studio atmosphere that supports all learners, including those with additional needs
Shape and stretch students’ artistic skills, confidence, and curiosity through a range of techniques and mediums
Adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning styles and SEN requirements
Take part in extracurricular opportunities such as clubs, workshops, and school exhibitions
Collaborate with the wider team to strengthen and evolve the Art curriculum

What We’re Looking For
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong Art subject knowledge
A creative thinker with the ability to inspire students of all abilities
Confident communication skills and a warm, motivating presence
Experience supporting SEN students is an advantage but not essential
A positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for visual arts
