We are working in partnership with a Special Educational Needs School in Maidenhead looking for graduates to join the team in September to kick start the new academic year. The school have recieved a high number of new referals for the new academic year and have asked Teaching Persoonel to assist with their recruitment. This role would be ideal for university graduates looking to kick start a career in the Education field. The school offers support to students with Autism (verbal and non-verbal), ADHD and Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. Students will be working to an adapted curriculum with intervention plans designed to their individual needs. The provision currently has gaps to work with primary or secondary pupils.
Supporting the main Teacher in a range of activities
Working with students 1:1 or in small groups
Helping to engage pupils in their intervention plans
Monitoring students progress across different areas of development
Communicating with professional to further aid student development
Supporting academic, social and emotional development
Graduated with a 2:2 or above in Psychology, Drama, Arts, English or a degree related to Education or Special Educational Needs
Keen to taken on additional training and personal development
Looking to have a career in the field of Education
Experence working in a school school or with Special Educational Needs is a bonus but not essential
The school will offer full training to all new staff which will include support on how to deliver intervention programes with students, management of students behaviour, first aid and safeguarding. You will recieve a will receive full support from a highly experienced, supportive and friendly team. Each new starter will be assigned a supervisor to guide training and be on hand if you have any questions or concerns.
