Teaching Personnel are looking for inspirational tutors in the Bognor Regis area to support young people with SEND. The pupils’ you will be supporting are likely to have been out of education for a long time and require specialist support whilst they await a school placement.

The Role

As a 1:1 tutor you will plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students in their home environment. Often pupils have a range of individual needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, PDA, and trauma. We work very hard to pair the right tutor to pupil and welcome educators from all backgrounds.

Tuition requests vary from 1 to 15 hours depending on the needs of the pupil. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you like and is ideal for those looking for flexibility. Likewise, we have capacity to provide multiple students to make up full time hours.


  • Ideally hold a QTS/PGCE certificate.
  • Endless enthusiasm and patience
  • Experience working with students who display challenging behaviour (desirable)
  • Have some experience working with young people with SEN (desirable)
  • Flexible and adaptable to be able to differentiate effectively to provide an inclusive education for all
