1:1 Teaching Assistant – Weymouth

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real impact every day? We’re working with a welcoming school in Weymouth seeking a caring and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a pupil on a part-time 1:1 basis, while also working within the wider classroom environment throughout the school day.

The Role:

• Full-time position, 5 days a week
• Starting September
• Providing 1:1 support for part of the day
• Supporting within the classroom environment for the remainder of the timetable
• Helping pupils engage with learning and build confidence
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEN is preferred
• A patient, nurturing, and positive approach
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Someone proactive, adaptable, and happy to work as part of a team
• A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive
