A charming Hackney based primary school, are seeking two passionate and driven graduates to join the team from September to work as Graduate teaching assistants. This is a superb opportunity for two recent Graduates who are looking to develop their existing experience with young people in a school setting in anticipation for beginning teacher training in the near future.
Working as a teaching assistant is a fantastic way to gain invaluable school based experience which will stand you in good stead for when you begin teacher training. Graduates who have previously spent the year working as a teaching assistant in this school have been successful when applying for their chosen teacher training course.
As a teaching assistant in this school you will be working under the guidance of an experience SENCo who is passionate about helping graduates who are just starting out their careers in teaching. You will be allocated a class with Key stage one or two and will have the opportunity to work with all pupils within the class covering all areas of the national curriculum.
The school are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have a strong desire to one day become a primary school teacher.
To be considered for this teaching assistant role you must be a recent Graduate who has already gained some form of recent experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntary school work, overseas teaching, tutoring, youth work...
