Job Title: Full Time Teaching Assistant - Year 3/4 Class

Location: Burnham-on-Sea 

Salary: £12.20 per hour

Contract: Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on young minds? We are currently seeking a Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our mainstream primary schools based in Burnham-on-sea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in education to contribute to the development and success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to support the learning and development of pupils.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
  • Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences as required.


  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Must be a UK resident
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational needs.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom.
  • A commitment to the well-being and progress of every student.
