Teaching Assistant Needed

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching assistants to work within our schools in the Swansea area. If you have previously worked as a teaching assistant or want your first teaching assistant role, then apply now.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Our Teaching Assistants play a big role in providing care and support for pupils between 3-11 within primary schools. General duties include supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to pupils, this could be working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Engaging and motivating pupils throughout the day is a regular task, ensuring they have the best school experience that they can get is essential. Support pupils with additional learning needs throughout the day. Being able to adapt to the day to day occurrences and using their own initiative is something our teaching assistants must do. Our teaching assistants have a positive impact on the school day.

What you need?

  • Experience working with children or relevant qualifications.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can support you obtaining this)
  • EWC Registered (we can support you     obtaining this)
  • Ability to drive (Desirable)
