Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ADHD Support Assistant to work in a school located in WF12. As an ADHD Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with ADHD to help them thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students with ADHD to provide individualised support in the classroom.
• Assist in implementing strategies and interventions to help students with ADHD succeed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.
• Monitor and track the progress of students and report back to relevant stakeholders.
• Offer guidance and encouragement to help students develop self-confidence and self-regulation skills.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with students with ADHD and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Knowledge of ADHD and its impact on learning and behaviour.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
