Salary: £162- £251 per day, depending on experience

Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative Design and Technology Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students and delivering an innovative curriculum that engages learners across a range of abilities. The role will involve teaching a variety of Design and Technology disciplines, including but not limited to Product Design, Graphics, and Textiles, at Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Design and Technology.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
  • Ensure students achieve their potential through innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support students in practical work and guide them in developing technical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall Design and Technology curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and continuous professional development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) or have a relevant degree in Design and Technology.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Design and Technology is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Ability to use a range of teaching resources and technologies effectively.
